T-Ball 2 Hooks Show Tribute

Our own T-ball 2 Hooks photo of their bats showing tribute to Detective Brian Moore, the NYPD officer from Massapequa who was recently killed in the line of duty. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Our goal at LSW is to have all the children enjoy playing with their friends, classmates and neighbors and also make new friends throughout the season. We do hope everyone has a great year and please send us any team photo’s from the many games and events we have throughout the season. Look online for updates on the many events that  we have going on this year including Night at the Races, Hit pitch and Run Competition, Opening Day Parade, Picture Day, LSW Night at Cit Field, Family Fun Day and Trophy Movie Night at the End of the Season.

Hi LSW Sports in Wantagh Seaford Levittown has one of their own players at this year's All-Star game. The All-Star press release went out June 30th and he participated in the Hit Pitch Run Competition and won and is representing Seaford Long Island and will be announced at the game. Joseph Thatcher in the 7-8 yr old category from Seaford and won at Citi Field representing the Mets.

He was seen on TV in last night's Home Run Hitting contest.

Congratulations to Joe Thatcher on Winning First Place at the Team Championship. He competed at the two previous qualifying events the first one held right here at our own Alken Ave Field. He is now eligible to be selected to be introduced at this Years Major League Allstar Game.
