Equipment Needed
UNIFORM- The league provides each player with a full uniform including socks, pants, a jersey, and hat.
REQUIRED GEAR/EQUIPMENT- Each player needs his or her OWN baseball/softball glove and protective cup.
OPTIONAL GEAR/EQUIPMENT- outdoor cleats(no Metal Cleats)A stock of batting helmets is maintained at the field and available to be shared by the athletes in each division if needed. A majority of players also purchase their own bats. Therefore, bats are usually shared and available for use by teammates. A standard baseball or modified softer ball is recommended for at home practice. Practice baseballs and new game balls are supplied by the league and maintained by each team’s coaches.

Kickball Division Ages 3-4
The Intramural kickball division is designed for 3 and 4 year old's who would like to start to play a team sport and have fun with their friends. This is a great way for your child to learn to play with their friends and begin to learn how to run around bases and develop an idea of what the sport of baseball has to offer. This is also the first opportunity for parents to get involved in coaching so please let us know if you would be interested in coaching the kickball team this year. Our games are played on Saturdays at our Alken Ave Field Complex between the hours of 9:00 am and 12:00 pm. Game time usually 30-45 minutes. Team size 10 players Max.
T-Ball 1 Division Ages 4
The Intramural T-Ball 1 division is designed for 4 year old's who would like to learn to play baseball with their friends and neighbors. We encourage parents who are interested in coaching to volunteer to help coach the team this first year. Players will learn the basic fundamentals of the game while enjoy being with their friends on the field. We have 1 game during the week starting at 6:00 and 1 game on Saturdays between 9:00 and 2:00 at our Alken Ave Field Complex.
T-Ball 2 Division Ages 5-6
The Intramural T-Ball 2 division is designed for 5-6 year old's who haven't yet played before or have continued from T-Ball 1, and would like to start to learn the basic fundamentals of baseball. We encourage parents who are interested in coaching or helping out to sign up to help coach the team. Players will be taught how to hit a pitched ball from a coach, running the bases, fielding and throwing properly. T-Ball 2 will give each player a sound foundation for the game, encourage good sportsmanship and is a lot of fun. Players will have the opportunity to play with or against their friends and neighbors and is a great way to make new friends. 1 game will be played during the week and begin at 6:00 pm, and 1 on Saturdays between 9 am - 2 pm. We play our games at the Duck Pond T-Ball field.
Rookies Division Ages 6-7
The Rookie division give 6-7 year olds a "glimmer" of actual baseball. The pitching machine is set up to give a true feeling of actual game at bats. In addition fielding and baseball situations are taught while the kids still have a great time playing with friends and neighbors. One game will be played during the week starting at 6:00 pm with and additional game on Saturday between 9:00 and 3:00. We play our games at our Alken Ave Field. Rookie Page with Teams and Schedules
Farms Division Ages 7-8
The Farm division is for 7-8 yrs. old's who have completed 2 full seasons (spring and fall or 2 spring ) at the rookie division and are age eligible. Before players are allowed to play at this level they are evaluated and given a rank between 1-5. Only 7 year old players who evaluate high enough will be allowed to move up into the farms for the spring season. 7 year old's who are not ready based on the evaluation will be registered into the rookie division for the spring season. Once all the players are ranked we hold a draft for teams in order to keep the competition fair and balanced. Farms is an instructional division where players will learn the rules of the game. The regular season is for the teams to improve and get ready for the playoffs. We cap off the season with the World Series which is played on Family Fun Day.
Farms Division is a draft so no requests can be made to play with friends during the spring season.
Minors Division Ages 9-10
The Minors Division is for our 9-10 year old players who have developed over the years and are ready to compete in a real baseball game atmosphere. In our division we have players at different skill levels and so we hold a draft to balance out the teams. Each team will have an opportunity to play in competitive games during the season. Our goal as coaches is to reemphasize the basic fundamentals while striving to have players excel during the season. We play our games at our Duckpond and Sandhill Fields and the bases are set at 65ft and they pitch at 46ft. We play one game during the week starting at 5:45 and on Saturdays between 9:00 and 3:00. Players will enjoy playing weekly with and against their friends and in front of their family members. We encourage full participation for all the players while keeping the game competitive. At this level all teams make the playoffs with a chance to win out and play for the World Series Title to be played on the turf at our Alken Ave Field Complex. Majors Division Ages 11-12-13
The Majors Division is for our 11-12-13 year old players who have continued to developed over the years and are ready to compete in our highest level of intramural baseball. Every year we hold a draft and players are drafted in order to try and keep the teams fair and balanced. Each team will have an opportunity to play in competitive games during the season. Our goal as coaches is to reemphasize the basic fundamentals while striving to have players excel during the season. We play our games at our Alken Ave Field Complex on the Turf Field and the bases are set at 75ft and they pitch at 51ft. We play one game during the week starting at 6:00 pm and on Saturdays between 9:00 and 3:00. Players will enjoy playing weekly with and against their friends and in front of their family members. We encourage full participation for all the players while keeping the game competitive. At this level all teams make the playoffs with a chance to win out and play for the World Series Title, played on the turf at our Alken Ave Field Complex. We have tried over the past couple of years to increase the number of players in our softball program but have not been very successful. If anyone is interested in helping the league to increase our softball membership please contact us and we would be glad to have some support to improve our softball program.
