Have Fun!
1. Parents line players up and they take turns kicking the ball.
2. Players in the field get the ball and throws it back to the coach.
3. Coaches can try to have them run to a base with the ball or throw to 1st base.
4. After the last player kicks they run all the bases home.
5. Parents will instruct runners to run to the next base.
6. You should play 2 innings so every player kicks 2x.
7. If time allows you may play 3 innings.
The Intramural kickball division is designed for 3 and 4 year old's who would like to start to play a team sport and have fun with their friends. This is a great way for your child to learn to play with their friends and begin to learn how to run around bases and develop an idea of what the sport of baseball has to offer. This is also the first opportunity for parents to get involved in coaching so please let us know if you would be interested in coaching the kickball team this year. Our games are played on Saturdays at our Alken Ave Field Complex between the hours of 9:00 am and 12:00 pm. Game time usually 30-45 minutes. Team size 10 players Max.
Coaches if your team would like to make up a game or add a game to the schedule and play during the week the field is open Mon-Friday and Sunday. Just call the other Lead coach to schedule a game and then send an e-mail to office lswadministrator@lswsports.org. If the lead coach cannot make the game please contact another coach to fill in that day.
Feel free to meet your team any practice day that is open. You can also contact another coach to set up a practice game for fun before the season starts.
